Tony Mosley : Game UI Work

The Starfarer Ship-to-Ship Refueling UI

The first ship-based vocational screen that a player could manage production and transactions within the MMO of Star Citizen. Everyone involved in this feature I've spoken with enjoyed working on it. Working closely with the Feature team in Dusseldorf we managed to create something quite special.

Ship HUDs & MFDs

During my time at Cloud Imperium Games, the UI team and teams in Montreal, Germany, UK undertook the data setup and styling of all vehicles in the game. I have worked on screens for most brands, however, it takes a village to build these things.

Character Creator UI

I worked on the character customiser between 2021 - 2023 with the final release candidate shown 2024. starting with taking the in-game system and adding new elements, below are a selection of the panels.

Mining Gadgets UI

A small device that was brought into the game to aid players in mining, with 6 different devices affecting the effectiveness of mining certain types of minerals and ores. Very satisfying knowing you're going to be enhancing players' game experience directly.

FPS Weapon Status UI

Fundamental update to bring the new wearing-out and crafting quality items to be represented in the game, alongside the ammunition handling updates requested by Gameplay.

FPS Weapon Screens

A small selection of ammo count screens that I worked on for various arms manufacturers within the Star Citizen 'verse'. Each with their own brand colour palette and shape language, the weapon geometry and brand general shape language steering the end look of each.

GreyCat Tools UI

Combining the functionality of three different tool functions into one device with mode switching between welding and metal stripping, tractor beam & energy charging and draining, all into a screen brought the size of a box of matches.

Blender Render

Asset shading & rendering using Blender, mild editing in PS, Illustrator for screen layout, design used in futuristic MRI scan fluff screens.
